Halton Women’s Place is a non-profit organization devoted to assisting abused women and their dependent children. They provide shelter and crisis services for physically, emotionally, financially and sexually abused women to establish violence-free lives in their community. They serve the Halton Region Community (Burlington, Milton & Oakville) in Ontario Canada. They offer free, safe shelter that is strictly non-judgmental and supportive. 

 

Their services include free comprehensive, non-residential and residential counselling services, telephone counseling, meals, emergency clothing and therapeutic and recreational activities for both pre- school and school-aged children.
